Vocal Ease & Friends (tenors and basses) together with the ensemble La Penserosa, playing on historical instruments, under the direction of Marta Jakubiec, presented works composed by J.F. Handel during his years in London. The program included Coronation Anthem No. 2, as well as famous excerpts from the oratorios Messiah and Theodora—a work overlooked during Handel’s lifetime but now considered one of his greatest masterpieces.
