About Vocal Ease

Vocal Ease is an international female choir formed in Brussels in 2010 by a group of experienced choral singers and the choral director Marta Jakubiec. The choir has already given concerts in Belgium, Germany, Great Britain and Poland. Vocal Ease is a high level amateur ensemble cooperating with professional instrumentalists. Apart from singing female choir repertoire, the group also organizes projects for mixed choirs inviting male singers.

Marta Jakubiec is a Polish choir conductor having wide experience in conducting both professional and amateur choirs (among others: BBC Singers, Vancouver Chamber Choir, Young choir Vox Laci in Portugal, The Estonian Choir Beene and BachWerk in Brussels). She is also a passionate music teacher to people at different ages, working at Do-Re-Mi, www.doremibelgium.com – a music centre founded by herself and following the world-wide known educational programme Music Together® for the whole families, and providing music classes at the European Parlament Creche WAYENBERG (0-4 years old). Marta also works as a vocal coach in the projects organized by Operamus, www.operamus.eu, aiming at preparation and performing Italian operas by children of numerous primary schools in Belgium with professional orchestra and singers.  Marta’s mission is also introducing classical music to people who are not very familiar with it through her channel on YouTube.
