Vocal Ease – international female choir in Brussels

Vocal Ease cordially invites you to its upcoming concert: “Musical meetings”, where, together with percussionist Adrien Fortemps, we will present a diverse programme for choir and percussion. We  will take you on a journey from the Renaissance – with madrigals accompanied by drum and sacred motets by Orlando di Lasso – to the famous Ave Maria  by Bach-Gounod in an original setting for solo soprano and marimba, and on to 20th-century music, featuring true gems of the women’s choral repertoire, such as Ave Maria by Zoltán Kodály.

Audiences do not often have the opportunity to hear percussion instruments such as the marimba or vibraphone live. During our concert, Adrien will present these instruments, demonstrate their playing techniques, and showcase their rich sound.
